Virginia Wright
VIRGINIA WRIGHT is a five time American author, writer, and illustrator, of children’s books. She first became a published author in 1981 when she sold her first writing–Faith, to a regional magazine in the state of Maine. Faith, The Blessing, and Rosarium, were published in an anthology–Soundings, by the Poetry Fellowship of Maine. She has contributed opinion articles to numerous online websites as a freelance writer. Wright’s first children’s book, is titled: The Princess and the Castle: A Fairy Tale, and this was followed by three other fairy tales: The Prince and the Dragon, Crying Bear, and a Christmas classic–The Christmas Secret: Mikey’s Story. Virginia is the author of an educational, nonfiction for all ages, Buzzzzzzzz What Honeybees Do. As an illustrator, she hasn’t only illustrated her own books, but she contributed illustrations to the book, Steampunk Alice by Dennis Higgins.
