I hope the Crokes community won’t mind if I briefly talk about music instead of books.
I have maintained a list of my top 10 favourite songs for a very long time, which has changed as I’ve gotten older. But for the first time in about 10 years, I have finally changed my number 1 favourite song.

Now, my absolute favourite song is “Reflektor” by Arcade Fire, a song that I have loved since it came out but have only grown to appreciate more and more each year. While I initially just loved the sound, the lyrics now feel very true about modern society and it resonates heavily with me. After it being in my top ten list, it has finally surpassed my old favourite in my eyes. It’s a great song. I have no idea what’s going on in the music video, but I don’t take that into account with my personal rankings.
